COpyright flowchart

Here is my flowchart based on copyright.
I did the flowchart based on a graphic designer with two different flowcharts.
One flowchart for copying work, and another flowchart for creating work.

Ipad magazine

Here is my magazine which i designed for the iPad.
I originally was going to do a magazine called the iMag, however it was too difficult to obtain Apple's fonts.
I then decided to create a design magazine, and that's how infinity design was born.

Flag

Here is my flag i designed for my digital media class.
My flag has a treble clef separating the colours in my flag, that shows my love for music.
The Southern Cross in the top right corner of my flag shows that I am Australian.
I kept my flag simple with simple shapes and colours in order to resemble a real flag.

Business Card

Here is my business card.

I chose to make my business card using Adobe Illustrator.
My initial design consisted of blocks and squares but it looked repetitive and not artistic.
I then came up with the idea of using abstract art and wavy shapes on my business card design, and was happy with the outcome.

Copy right or wrong. Group presentation.

Today we presented our group exercises on our copyright debate.
We were for copyright and the other group was against copyright.
We made a powerpoint presentation which we presented to the class

ABC

We went around with a still camera and took pictures of objects that resembled letters.
We found each letter from A to Z. I assisted with finding photos.
I eventually compiled a movie using the letters we found.
I used garage band for the audio, and I Movie for the video.

Copyright

Listened to an audio of a woman named Helane Hegemann whom stole an extract from someone's blog and placed it in her book. Below are the notes that I have taken.

Plagiarism: homage or stealing?

Helane Hegemann defends herself by saying there’s no such thing as originality, just authenticity.
Helane Hegemann is being accused of plagiarising a blog, by taking out about 20 paragraphs and inserting it into the book without mentioning it. Her book, entitled “Axolotl Roadkill”, is a book about a teenage girl whose mother died of alcoholism.
Helane Hegemann has just turned 18 years old; her father is a famous director of the Berlin theatre.
If she Helane Hegemann had acknowledged where the blog had come from, the charges against her would have been less severe.
The blogger said ‘she stole my life’, ‘I experienced that, and she just took it and put it into her book.’ The blogger’s book sold only 100 copies whilst Helane Hegemann’s book sold 100,000 copies.
Philipp Theisohn is the author of a book called plagiarism: An Unoriginal Literal History.
